My mom was vaccinated and sick with Covid. I have not been vaccinated and exposed to her several times plus at least five other known up close exposures and have not been sick. It’s just not that simple. I’m sick of this shit especially the disdain of the people choosing to not get the shot. We are being villianized.

Good luck Mel. You are a strong man and there are therapeutics if you'r hit. The dental operatory somehow fortifies the immune system. I never got a cold or anything from a patient. In in my time, we operated without gloves, masks, face shields or anything. I saw dozens of guys with ADIS. Nobody would see them. Contact precautions and basic disinfection methods. It was a miracle no body got sick. -
We did not know it at the time but my girlfriend had Covid. Well, I gave her a big, wet kiss goodbye. Come to find out she had Covid! I never got infected. Luck, strong immune system I don't know just glad I didn't get sick.

Because they are in bed with BigpHarma who can't make any money off of supplements because they aren't able to patent it. This holds true with anything they can't patent. Thanks for sharing that useful bit of info.Comment

Some anecdotal bull shit conspiracy chit. I hope it does not break your peace. Seems like my posts have been having that effect on some.
1. Sister in law, 10 days inpatient with covid, 63 y/o unvaxed, obese, remdesivir and prednisone... survived. She was told by hospital staff that all patients on the floor were unvaxed.
2. Friend chaplain associated with a hospice organization says... 75% of folks she counsels family at death time are previously vaxed folks with so called "breakthrough" infection. Many younger folks, not +65 y/o farts like me.
You make your own conclusions and decisions.
In my opinion the distrust arises when people are lied to again and again and again. Then they are forced to obey to take a serum that they "the government" know is not totally safe or effective. It helps many but it does not some. If they explained this to people there would be less chit on the fan blades. I am a high risk folk. I got vaxed. I have encouraged some of my old fart friends to get injected with the serum.
This chit is not going away. I am suspect that we are not being told the truth about the serum or alternate treatment methods and options. It seems wicked to me.
I wonder what will happen when 100% of folks have been vaxed and we get another wave. Who will they blame? What will fuiccu say?

Interesting epidemiologic discussion on pros and cons of injected serums and therapeutics. Little boring and confusing at the end but rational. Might help some make a decision of weather to inject the serum + booster of not. Hopefully more of this will become available and protocols for self care established and explained carefully. If we became able to deal with influenza and colds we should be able to learn how to live with this new mean pathogen.
