If you want to see your right to free speech evaporate just come to California. Gov. Dumbass believes that protesting and looting is no big deal and the fact that they don't wear masks or keep 6' apart is no big deal. You see, he believes their cause outweighs the COVID 19 virus problem there for they are exempt. If you go to church and sing then holly crap you're a felon and need to be put down. MJ and liquor stores stay open but restaurants, Gyms, nail salons not so much. If you're homeless you are exempt from just about any crime other than murder. Seriously, they are exempt from masks and socially distancing. If you attempt to defy Gov, Dipshit he will send any and all applicable state agencies to your place of business. All the while people and businesses are bailing out of California at an expeditious rate. California lawmakers are attempting to tax people up to 10 years if you sell your house and move out of state. POS state.
Why not move? I'm working on that with my extended family. It isn't easy. They hate California also but their jobs are here.

63 years in NY, pretty similar, but being rural in a farming county, mostly it doesn't affect me, except the extreme taxes. I'm done with NY, bought a place in northern rural Florida, where the sheriff stops by the local bar for a beer and laughs because my plates are 6 years old on my bike, says " you'll be alright" ( au- ite is how they say it there) Different world, we love it there. But I don't get riled up about what other people do, so I stay pretty serene.

I have been worked up I guess due to California's policy of everyone gets preferential treatment over tax payers. I just read today that our legislators are having a 3 year quest/survey to determine how to pay out African Americans in reparations. It will be law in California in 2023. Guess who is going to pay that and guess how many more tax payers will leave because of it. It's madness!
