Let me give you an example. I have COPD, which is considered an underlying condition, probably one of the.most common ones. I'm also 50-60 lbs overweight, I'm not sure what the cutoff line is for obesity, but basically I probably have the two most common underlying conditions. So if I got Covid today, and was dead in 2 weeks, your stated position seems to be that I didn't really die from Covid? I was going to die anyway?

- You know that thing in your head that tells you not to say things?........ Yea, I don't have one
This must be me then..... Yea so many news sources - none legit - tsk tskOriginally posted by Tripps View Post" America announcement", as I suspected, why don't you check the CDC website. Sorry, but I won't even click the link. You can tell most of those sites agendas just by their names.

And I believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and little green Martians! Confirmation bias at its best. And the best selling book of all time is propaganda too. It sells a narrative that a bunch of old white guys decided they wanted disseminated. While it may hold some stories from believers, it also excludes those narratives that have a different perspective, the Gospel of Thomas for an example. And God forbid that we should hear from Mary Magdalene.

It's both I think, depending who you are. I think it's way overblown, but it's symptomatic of our society, people want zero risk. They have laws now named after people, one incident, hey, pass a law. Even health care, I don't believe it's illegal aliens or poor people using emergency rooms for colds, it's old people trying to live forever.Originally posted by Mighty MouseI think the bottom line is that both sides of Democrats and Republicans have been fudging the numbers to benefit their side. People like you and I just want the truth. Is it a horrible flu like virus that will kill us all if the correct steps are not taken or just a bad flu. Was it serious or a scam? Time will tell.
My father in law spent his last two months in the hospital, the last month in intensive care. He was terminal, no chance of living. He had good insurance, but I think the cost was a quarter or a third of a million dollars. For nothing, really
Both my parents checked out and came home to die, I give them a lot of credit, I plan to do the same. Kinda got off topic, but it's related
On the lighter side....
