You’re probly right about the quality of that particular gator hide, I didn’t spend a lot of time looking, point is if you find somebody to work with I like I did on my seat & bib you can save major dollars by procuring the hide yourself, and they are out there on sites like eBay.

In my world dress boots are luxury items not unlike good timepieces, well made pocket knives, favored sidearms & rifles...or nice motorcycles. As such any of them are likely to generate some discussion among those who have similar interest.
I’m trying to imagine what would make you want to discuss Tampax and maxi-pads, are those luxury items in your world?😀😀😀

I don’t know why but it is typically made fun of as gay when men discuss clothing items even though we all wear them. In truth boys love to show their toys to other boys. After Christmas it was common to get together and share what you and your buddies got as gifts. Is it bragging or showing off? Or is it just sharing the fun of new items? I’m not sure but I’m guilty of the behavior.
I suspect the whole forum experience is based on this desire to share common interests.
BTW Wendy I have hired women for decades and I’ve heard them talk about feminine hygiene products and actually describe in detail how much they bleed and how bad the cramping is. Sure am glad I get to talk about guns and boots instead of bloody dripping hoohahs.😂
