    Chasing 200 HP Begins

I received today my new chrome 3-1-2 Viking Exhaust system made by Paul Bryant. It is Paul's first 1 3/4" system he has made for the Rocket III.
    Thank You Paul.

It'll sound like 200hp! They look great. The headers have welded nuts for shields... kool.

What are you doing with the O2 sensor? There are different opinions about what to do with it. I placed a by-pass on the input connector and left it ON in TuneECU. I guess if the bike us run on high country it will be even richer. Left the sensor in the pipe so it is probably cooked anyway.

HansO,s tune for the Classic is very rich, specially when the bike is cold. BTW, I know you like the hard bags but, they will hide those fine pipes. I think the O2 sensor helps the motor make changes to the fuel/air ratio with varying conditions.

The O2 bung is there. It is behind the pipe for a cleaner look. I also have the 200 HP kit from Neville Lush Racing. Cams, Pistons, Valve Springs, Retainers and his base tune for it. I plan to get the tune fine tuned on Nels Dyno and use my AFR Plus to control AFR so my pipes don't blue.

Mr. Bill wanted to document the sound of Rocket 3 now before the changes. Being buddies I had to poke at him a bit so I hope you guys understand we tease a lot.

Sounds great. I did the same thing. Took a TOR off and replaced it with a stock pipe. It was too loud. Looks like to beat this guy some weight off the Rocket would also help. He-fast.

Was there a particular spot or was a particular spot hard to hear? Mr. Bill's with commentary about his current was a little quiet, I had his sound all the way up. Sorry we can get better.

As Rocket 3 fans I know you're pulling for Mr. Bill to crush me as it should be. I don't own a Rocket 3 but Mr. Bill will tell you I'm a big fan of the bike.

All that said when it comes to racing I'm in it to win it and make Mr. Bill feel glad he added those additional ponies.

I'd love to take a Rocket 3 to Bonneville this year and do some good stuff for Rocket 3 riders out there. A modifed Rocket 3 without a fairing would need to go 206 mph to set a record but 200 mph sure sounds good to me.

Well Mr. Bill wanted to do some acceleration sound tests on his new Viking exhaust but unfortunately he did not hit the record button on his gopro but this is what I heard from my bike.

It is LOUD. But it does sound good. I would like it to be 15 or 20 decibels quieter. Paul what can you do to make it quieter ?

                    I like the sound, Billy.
Sounds rather quiet to me, compared to my CES anyway.

My Viking on the Roadster is plenty loud but not obnoxious. The stock TFC is much quieter but still plenty strong. I like to have a loud Rocket and a more mild sounding one.
