Will not make it. Too many conflicts to make it happen. Have a great time.

        Boys & Girls,
All on his own, my brother Dan, went to the trouble of assembling a potential attendance roster for the Spearfish ride.
Currently we stand at 30 peeps and I have perhaps another 4-6 peeps coming from Tacoma.
Anyone interested in seeing this list, please let me know.
This has been a real great motivator to me for re-habbing my new knee!
I have leaders and tail gunners (communicator equipped) for the two groups coming from Tacoma.
We likely will need to add a third group at Spearfish, so please consider getting your Sena and volunteering.

We don't have the mesh 2 firmware, but we can bring up to two non-cardo units per cardo unit into our "rider group"

Or sex in the dark? 😜
You can't go wrong with Sena or Cardo. I have 4 Senas and used them off and on for group rides for 18 years.

          Amigo,
I'm not sure what you mean here, "bring up to two non-cardo units per cardo unit into our "rider group".
          Can you explain further, please?

Sorry, I meant one Cardo unit can connect to two non-Cardo units, and then to like ten other Cardo units, making all of those units able to communicate with each other.

So with our 4 units we can connect to as many as 8 Sena units and all hear and talk to each other?…Cool. Im going to delegate the responsibility for making that happen to you son!

I hope I never hear anyone talking to me when I'm riding.

Agreed. I hate hearing chit-chat while on motor.
Leading and maintaining a large group is enhanced by the ability to notify others of impending turns & fuel stops.

I’m not a big talker, I don’t want to listen to music, I want to hear the bike and the road. But, I don’t mind hearing traffic conditions, obstacles in the road, if there is a cop running radar ahead, a turn on our route etc..com systems have their place but can detract from the experience if overused.

          Amigo,
Riding in group 2 (just my recommendation - your choice) you should have no worries about traffic conditions, obstacles, coppers, and especially turns during the route. The leaders and tail-gunners will be acute to not losing anyone!

Yes, Amigo. We shall be at least 2 groups, riding one after the other. This will be less intrusive to other vehicle traffic and and safer for our own riders. Each group will have a leader and tail-gunner in communication at all times. At every turn off the current road, all riders will be ensured to have make the turn.
Group speed will not be "race mode" and riders should be able to keep up within 1 or 2 seconds of the staggered rider in front.
We'll have a quick rider meet each morning. HTH
            Steve
