    Spearfish Freedom Ride

    At the request of a few good friends, I have chosen to offer a re-do of my 2016 RAA event.
    Details to be forth comming, but the basics involve a meet up in Spearfish, SD followed by 2 days of spectacular riding and visit of the Mt. Rushmore area.
    Subsequent rides are to the Devils Tower, Red Lodge, Mt, Beartooth Pass, Dead Indian Pass, Cody, WY and their famous museum, and a possible run into Yellowstone if time permits.
    Any interest?

        Suggest some dates good for you then, Amigo, just NOT early August.

        Same here I will be there just make it when I am on days off

      Hopefully yes. Today is a bad day to ask, though, after driving nonstop Buffalo to Florida, then the next day driving up to Raleigh and back, I'm pretty burned out on long distance driving. Luckily stuff like that fades over time, you start thinking it wasn't so bad.😂

        Amigo,
        That there is kinda sounding like old person talk. :-{
        Your travel gusto shall surely return by then.
        You were a integral part of the last Spearfish run and should not miss "Spearfish Duo".
        Remember to invite/bring Dave, if he's still around. :-}

      David,
      You, Loopy, and Fred need to figure out dates that will work for youse, then we can plan around that.
      I think the original Spearfish run was in August of 2016 and I recall a couple days were HOT, HOT, HOT!
      I reckon July may be a tad better month heat wise. You guys hash out what works best.

        Sure, I'll have to know what the dates are to ask off work.

      Terrific! I hope all three of the Browns can come ride with us!
      I reckon first half July be the best time, but I am totally open for dates, so y'all talk it up.

        I be VERY pleased with the early interest!

        My concept (rough draft) so far is:
        Day 1 - Meet up in Spearfish, SD
        Day 2 & 3 - Ride the best of the area
        Day 4 - Ride to Red Lodge, MT via The Devil's Tower
        Day 5 - Ride Beartooth Pass & Dead Indian Pass to Cody, WY
        Day 6 - Hang out in Cody, visit museum
        Day 7 - Head home, or those interested can ride west through Yellowstone to West Yellowstone and on to wherever . . .

        Please feel free to offer suggestions and opinions. The 2016 ride was one of the best I have done and I'd like this one to be even better!?!?!

          Lupe - I'm pretty much smack in the middle of Spain - just far enough from Madrid not to actually see it. In the foothills to the west.

          https://www.blafermotos.com/flota-ta...motos-4-500-cc

          Also may be worth looking in https://www.momoven.es/ - this is a network of private folk renting out bikes.

          Most I've found seem to be VERY regional rentals.

          If you were thinking of the South around Malaga/Gibraltar - Frank is now resident down there.

        Love to come out and play with y'all Steve ,but unless a lottery ticket hits the cash flow just isn't going to be there.

        Pretty much resigned myself to the realization that the Colorado trip a few years back was probably the last time out of the Appalachian mountains for me
