In 1968 my parents took me to the drive movies to see Planet of the Apes. It's hard for me to fathom that even at 6 years old, after seeing that movie, I was scared that I would live to eventually see those things come true. I'm waiting to see Taylor hit his knees and pound his fist in the sand at the base of the sunken Lady Liberty..........................
