Panama is Costa Rica but cheaper. Costa Rica was 20 years ago now getting too expensive and way more crime than Panama where crime is very low and mostly of the non-violent type such as pick pocketing, occasional house burglary. Guns are very rare there even with criminals. Saw a documentary on Panamanian prison. Among the worst conditions in the world. Perhaps that has something to do with it!

I seriously hope that Texas secedes from this cess pool swamp that is now the United Socialist States of D.C.
And I say that very sadly because we all love the country that was set forth by the founders. They deserve better than this. All of the fallen hero’s and those that lived through all battle deserve better.

Funny you should state that. The 14 years I spent 6 weeks each year in the Manzanillo area I grew to really enjoy the local peeps.
The 'mericans that visited were mostly self righteous pricks from Canada and Minnesota.
We used to hypocritically say a great day in Mexico was one with no gringos. -
I have a BRITISH passport. This says nothing about who I am. I may say something about who I was. May - as I don't think my parents were really that prototypical. Of my 61 years on this earth - I have spent very nearly 40 outside the United Kingdom. True I was born a Colonial. My experience of "Ex-Patriots" is on the whole VERY negative. I know one or two non-Spaniards here but - they're integrated and NOT Anglo-Saxon.
