Darren Baker/GettyBritish authorities say they have rescued a child who was targeted in a disturbing international organ-harvesting plot. A top Nigerian senator and his wife have been charged with conspiracy over a plan to bring the child to the U.K. in order to harvest their organs, London’s Metropolitan Police announced Thursday.
