Read the book "When Meadow Died" about the Parkland shooting. The father chronicles how every level of Government failed these kids. I am certain it is the exact same scenario.

Me also. I don't get it. Even liberal California would have been in their in a hot second.

      What SCOTUS decision was this???

Curious if a civil case would have the same out come. When a cop is sworn in he swears to uphold the law and "lay down his life" in a sworn verbal agreement.

        Amigo,
The first one quickly flashed a New York Times article that was immediately flashed over by an Indian Casino add. There was no way I could read it.
The second was a Federal Court, not SCOTUS, affirming there was nothing specific in the Constitution.
I believe that to be true just the same as the ten commandments are also not in the Constitution.
I took an oath of office as a police officer that I would defend the innocent as I would myself. That meant something to me!
Those coward coppers violate the PRIMARY reason society needs them!

I have to agree. I don't understand the thinking logic. I'm not certain they were 'all' cowards one and all but horrible cops for sure. I feel strongly that a 'new' Woke/PC policy was being instrumental in fat boy's thinking. I have a feeling the fat tub of crap in command is as liberal and as big a pussy as they come. He had more excuses than Carter's got pills (old southern saying) My opinion only.

I, for one, definitely consider him a good Samaritan.

Fox News: Gun control advocates stunned man who allegedly shot Indiana mall shooter labeled 'Good Samaritan'.

I could give a fuck what the constitution literally says about police responsibilities.
When you become a police officer, if you are not willing to risk your life to save another, you are in the wrong fucking career!
