As more details come out, it is just an outrage how that was handled! Unfucking believeable!

Federal agents who went to Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Tex., on Tuesday to confront a gunman were told by local police to wait, but chose to enter the school.

THIS is why nothing in our history will ever be more important than the right to keep and bear arms.

It's now 100% clear that the Uvalde mass shooting was a "stand down operation," meaning law enforcement was deliberately ordered to stand down so that the massacre could take place. The goal? Gun control, of course. "Uvalde police stood outside school while parents urged them

Some of these things may be bullshit.
But we better keep an open mind that it’s possible.

Just like Columbine, I'm so sick of the " all policemen and soldiers are heroes " shit. If you want to serve your community but lack courage, be a garbage man or emt. There are certainly heroes in this world, but the term is way overused.

I was a corrections officer, no hero but I can tell you that it is a very hard job! Most people would not put up with the garbage I had to. I was yelled at, had poop and pee thrown at me, threatened to kill me MANY times as well as that of my family. Threatened to have my house burned down, punched, jumped and always outnumbered. And even though they may be trying to end my life I can only respond with "reasonable" force. Inmates have far more rights than an officer while on the job!
Maybe that's not heroic but worthy of my respect.

Yea Pbj, my wife came from a family with many in the corrections system. Have my respect!
I do agree with Chris that not everyone from any walk of life are all hero’s. There are some zeros everywhere

Breeze your son has my UTMOST RESPECT. Those front liners helped save my wife’s life twice in the last two years. She wouldn’t be here without them.

I'm not taking anything away from anyone, I'm just saying when you overuse a word like hero, you detract from the true meaning of it. Sports figures are another instance that comes to mind.

I completely get it and you're right. It's like the word "awesome". It's meaning has been dummed down over the years.

Agreed. Way, way overused. It has no serious meaning anymore. A man that TRANSitions to a female to beat college females in sports is a hero to the left. In their eyes he's a celebrity/star/God. You're a hero if you pay your bills on time. You can thank the media for that one.
