I am a lifelong Conservative, this is not about politics at all, it's a threat to our system, when someone doesn't like the results of an election. Speedy; nobody is my enemy. Certainly no-one in this forum. It was formed as a place to exchange ideas and concerns about politics. Just as you, all I have is the information that is broadcast. I do my best to listen to both factions. They are both viced and biased. A lot is at stake. No-I don't play the fiddle. I hope that your post is not a personal attack. If I have provoked your ire, it was not my intention. All I have is respect for you and Chris. You two are my friends.
If this material and information were easily verifiable by me, the FBI would be at my door. I am not a constitutional attorney and I admit to my ignorance of what the burden of truth is in this matter. I am just an American citizen viewing what appears to be a foul in the past election. I voted in person after handing in my provisional ballot that I had requested. Many voted with un-requested ballots. Those votes should be disallowed. There seems to have been sly of hand in the counting process. There was manipulation of the flow of information just prior to the election that favored one of the candidates. I can not satisfy your requests for veracity in detail. I wish I could. I am not a sore looser. I am a disappointed American voter that trusted the integrity of the electoral process that seems to have been breached.
Americans seem to have lost the ability to converse without attack. The two factions just don't have different opinions but hate each other's gut. One of the most popular shows on TV is called Law and Order. Seems like some wish to to dismantle L&O.
The president is exhausting his administrative remedies to which The Constitution you cite entitles him to. I have sympathy for Mr. Trump and do not approve of seeking remedy through intimidation, rioting and bullying as we have seen unfold as of lately. The court was not packed. Justices were appointed according to merit and reputation. I am sure they are concerned if not scared of violent fallout as a result of their actions and tens of millions taking to the streets to protest.
The coming days appear to bring heavy weather and the long term effect of a zinese friendly administration is worrisome, at least to me along with several other agendas of the democtrat party.
Let's hope that, like in the past, all this is political noise and nothing changes. -

You claim nobody is your enemy but you write: "If we are and succumb to the fear of attack by the enemy then we are really toast." when referring to those would would protest if the court over-turned the election." Some of those protesters would likely be your neighbors, even friends, and not just a bunch of angry miscreants. Most, but not all, would be Democrats.
As to your claims: "Slight of hand" in counting is unlikely as most ballot counts are witnessed by outsiders. Who gets ballots, how they are distributed, where they are dropped off, are all controlled by states' election commissions. In those states that the counts were close, recounts and/or investigations did occur. Those states certified their results. Anyone had the right to contest those rules or procedures in court BEFORE the election. Republicans didn't because any supposed issues with the process could have been in their favor. Can anyone believe that those same voices screaming now about how fraudulent the election process was would be saying the same thing had Trump won?
As to "manipulation of information", welcome to America, the land of propaganda. Anybody is free to say almost anything and say it as often as they can afford to do so. Sound like Trump? The Washington Post, Fox News, PBS; the list is almost endless. Each has biases and often an agenda. You and I are required to be informed citizens despite the un-ending propaganda trying to convince us someone else knows better what you need or want, or how you should behave, better than you do yourself.
You are correct in stating that Trump, like any American, has the right to legal redress in our courts. However, without evidence to warrant the claims of harm, those cases are promptly dismissed. Trump keeps making a claim of fraud but has been unable to present evidence to support that extraordinary claim. He is practicing an old adage: Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the "truth." He acts like a petulant child demanding he get his way and striking out at anyone who won't do his bidding.

I have no problem with debate. Personal attack should not be an element during debate. When it becomes, the debate is over. That was one of Trump's major style errors. For now I'm in the "violence will not happen here" position. I had seen electoral corruption in Puerto Rico. It is part of the process. Sour ingredient, but part of the process.
The influencing power of the information feed is is a commodity. The information feed has new powerful players that many of us don't understand or even use. These days they provide, warrantied results advertising. What reliable source of information do you trust and use?
An attempt to stop the pre-election voting process was made. The courts squatted. What is left is to exhaust one's remedies after the fact, for which there are provisions. I still don't understand the whole process well.
Yes, many people perceive Trump as petulant, arrogant, narcisistic, delusional, childlish, not presidential and on and on. But, in my opinion, he delivered many of his campaign promises and more. Trump made a bona-fide effort to re-point the country in a better direction in several fronts. It could all be a lie, we'll see. Like Lemon has said on CNN, "republicans live in a parallel universe". We have the real truth. We will soon notice if JB has a more better game. It just don't like that to me.
