The most important question has to be this - did you manage to replenish the stocks of alcoholic beverages??

Sort of. The ordinary "run of the mill" stuff was easy. The "good" stuff requires further travel - So I think I'll wait 'til Saturday.

And some of the Rum is in an Amazon truck somewhere.

EDIT - Made a deal with Monti. I take her to CostCo on Saturday - and after she buys me lunch at the brewery.

Amazing! - A guy turned up yesterday and cleared the road. We can get out.
Of course we can't actually go anywhere as there is nowhere to park if you do.
Anywhere unoccupied has been piled up with removed snow.

If it were just up to me I'd be there already. Once Frank emigrates, then I'll have a place to hide out.

Last I heard he was close confined in Sahrf'amtun.

Monti might be persuaded to move East to the coast. It's warmer. If it were me I'd head for One of the Ilse of Dogs just off the African coast. No burial fees - Tipped into the ocean and nibbled by sharks. Not very nice if you're not quite dead.

Your online course is a bit dull, I gather!

Just a bit. Had to re-do working at heights and RF awareness last week and we have just spent the whole morning covering this subject....yawn! Have to do this to gain access to site.

I don't DO working at any height above thick Vibram Sole. So I could have skipped that bit.

I have to have this just in case the job warrents it. Much prefer ground level working in data centers etc...warm, dry, and comfy!!

I take it that temperatures are remaining cold? Unusually cold in northern Florida this year, no snow yet, but it's been below freezing half a dozen times already this year

It got up to 9°C yesterday - but then below freezing at night. The problem is all the narrow bits that get no sun. It's been an odd Autumn/Winter - I predicted very cold back in Early October. So bought in extra Holm Oak firewood. Last night it barely froze and we have 10°C (50°F) forecast at midday. I have seen colder (-17°C) but not for many days and more snow (1 metre) but for less time. The folk from here say it's the most impacting snow they remember.
