Chit, make that a monthly celebration. That's what I do every day anyway. Not much drinking tho.

We lost our Jazz a several weeks ago. Pretty Pillion mourned for about a month. I was back home taking care of my Mom's service and was away. A double whammy like that in the same week is not not easy to take. I will miss my cooking buddy; she was a good and loving part of the family.

Sorry for the loss of the little fur person Bobby. When I first met you in Stearns, Ky in 2018 we had just lost our beloved Layla literally the day before we left on our trip to Stearns. Broken hearted to say the least. We lost our Pastor a couple of months later. He was also my Dads best friend since they were in high school. Two months later my Dad past. Two weeks after that my wife’s Dad past. What a terrible year 2018 was.
We still think about Layla all the time. We still cry often. They are very much a part of the best things we have in life.
Run free forever little fur persons.
            Wait for us in heaven…….

They are called, man's best friend, for a reason. It's hard to beat the unconditional love that dogs offer their owners.

That unconditional love is absolutely right.
Ms. Elie is quite affected by Jazz's loss too. She one would run wild in the back yard when she was let out. Now she walks slowly to Jazz's grave. It is unmistaken, dogs know...

My Daughters best friend got cancer a few months ago. They tried everything including amputating her back leg, chemo, keto diet, but it continued to grow so yesterday they had to put her down.

she was holding her paw when they put her down. I am as sad as I would be if it were my own dog because I believe Malori loves dogs more than anyone I know.
This dog was her flower girl in her wedding.
Gonna be a tough one to lose 😥😭

Sorry to hear that, Clint. My daughter has a 3 legged dog due to cancer, but for her, it worked
