No, not with life, with wood. First piece took some fiddling, it's been a while since I have done coping. This is the second piece, got it perfect first try. 😙

Cool, looks like you got it. I suspect that is becoming a lost art, haven’t had my coping saw out for a few years. Have you tried to buy a traditional carpenters hand saw lately? It’s a specialty item now, got to order them in.
On the subject of making joints in wood trim, have you discovered 2P-10 glue? This stuff is the cats ass for making outside corners, especially on crown molding which is generally tough to make right because the back of it doesn’t lay flat on the wall. 2P-10 lets you make up your outside corners on the saw horses then take it to the wall.
