Friendships knows no borders. Another European trip maybe?

As most of you know, i went over seas for the first time last june. We spent a total of 4 days in Barcelona, 2 on the way in and 2 on the way out.
On the way in, within a few hours of arriving, while we were trying to figure out which way was east or west, and at a local park next to a metro station, this nice lady approached my wife and asked her if we were lost, my wife said kind of, and they started talking, a few minutes later, her husband and a small girl joined the conversation.
They showed us how to take the metro to anywhere we wanted to go, when we returned, we saw them again and coming to find out they live across the street from our hostal.
we talked some more, told them what we were planning the next day and we and went to rest. Next morning, they were actually waiting for us outside their door to give us all info needed (without us asking for it) for our entire day of visiting the city!!!
We left Barcelona, 10 days later we returned, we saw them again as the little girl was leaving for school.
by then, my wife and the lady are best friends, anybody that knows my wife will agree that she can make friends really easy
Long story short, we stayed in communication and they extended an invitation for us to go back and to stay at their place, which is a small place but does have that home feeling when you walk in
We are thinking about it, and we also extended an invitation for them to come over and spend their vacation with us.
The man rides a smaller motorcycle, a scooter to be exact, not that small either, since the Yamaha Tmax is one of the most powerful scooters.
We are trying to see if they can make it so he can go with me to WV, i mentioned it to him and he was beyond happy with the idea, he just needs to see if work permits.
I told him he could ride the 750 BMW and he got nervous, he says he rater rent one, i insisted and told him i got full coverage on it.
Him and me would go on the bike rides while my wife would show his wife and daughter the not so beautiful state of Oklahoma.
    Hope i don't dissapoint them
People says i trust people that i bearly know way too much but hey,,, i have had my house full of very ugly long bearded bikers from allover the country and even Australia for several days and multiple times, it could not be any scarier than that

BTW - Tis looking like we will not make WV in time for the Soiree on our ocean to ocean Big Ride.
We are coming through OK on the way to Seba Station and Talihina. Would REALLY like to see ya'all again!
Prolly leave here mid June and reach OK City in a week or less.

I have never met you although I have corresponded with you when you bought my Windshield that cost you an arm and leg to have it delivered. You are very likeable I must say. Can I borrow some money? Just a few thousand should do for now. Your best friend, Terry (MM)😁

If I knew the windshield came from California I would've fumigated it before I put it on 🀣🀣🀣🀣

As long as you washed the 'California stank' off it then all is good. It really was a good windshield. So much better than the wimpy Powerbronze I have on my 2020 now. Glad Rainman is enjoying it. The windshield is certainly seeing a big part of the USA. I took it to Nevada, Oregon and Idaho. πŸ˜…

You should have. It came off of my 05 Rocket that I bought in Sherman Oaks Cal (L.A area). No telling what was laid on the windshield before I bought it.

What up with large gap between headlights and shield bottom?
Clearview and 7Jurrock shields do not have this gap as various shield heights are available.
    Just sayin' . . .
I've used several of OEM, Clearview, and 7Jurrock, but now prefer the giant fly on both of my R3Roadsters.

It's adjustable. The guy I bought it from had it rigged up to be adjustable and did a fair job on it. I always had it one finger width above the headlamps as it's the best for my height. When I bought the 05 Rocket it was about a quarter inch above the headlamps. I tried different heights and around 1" between the shield and top of the headlights was good. We all know that a good level for the top of the windshield should be even with the tip of your nose and that's about where it ended up. πŸ‘ƒ

    Mouse,
The gap let's more air through. In my case it would blow my mustache upwards into my nostrils.
My torso is very tall and I went through this same exact process.
I set a rock 150 ft front of my front wheel. The top of shield should be in line with that sight line.

If the top of the shield is level with your eyes then when you look down you're looking through the shield. I don't disagree with you because you know what's best for you. I know what's best for me and the nose level is that. To each his own (my way is perfect though)πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ The thought of MY OLD SAGGING BALLS blowing upwards into my eyes intrigues me. MAYBE I SHOULD JUST HOLD EM IN MY MOUSE MOUTH

Hurtful and in fact they do sag a little although they are hard to see with my Louisville slugger in the way. Mouse mouth πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ That's funny!

      Clit,
You messed my point on this one, Amigo!
#1] On a level surface, place a rock 150 feet in front of your front wheel.
#2] As you look at the rock, set shield height to that line of sight.
Please let me know if this explanation helps?

I'll give it a try Bull although I'm pretty happy with the setup I have now but certainly willing to try different stuff. 150' from windshield to Rock. If I can't find a rock I'll borrow one from Clint's head. He has quite a few in there so he won't miss one.

      Amigo,
150 feet from front of front wheel, not the shield.
