So living the country life ive started raising chickens. Well at this point Im up to 12 chickens and 4 guineas.
Most of my chickens are prolific egg layers and will produce an egg a day which is way more than we will eat.
So I looked into what I would need to do to legally sell them (not commercially, just put a sign out etc).
Spoke to the dept of agriculture and they stated I had to get an egg candler certification. Apparently this entails taking a 4hr course from the state and passing the test.
Problem is the state has 5 classes thru the rest of the year and they are all fully booked.
So you require me to do something then make it impossible for me to do it?
