I saw that a moderator shut down a thread that dealt with the subject of :horsepower vs torque:
They said that there were too many comments about the subject and we need to talk about something else.
Are you kidding me??? I don't think there could ever be too many comments about that subject. There are over 300 comments about what music you are listening to, are they going to shut that down too?
We ride bikes with the biggest engine ever! Horsepower and torque off limits. Never thought I'd see the day!

They probably shut down because just like everything else, a certain someone with a “Sonny” disposition probably had to talk shit in drunken tongue about his being the best at everything with one brain lobe tied behind his back 🙄

In all fairness I spoke with Harry who I do like as he is a straight shooter with me and he explained the reason. I understand and agree with it closing but maybe a little more explanation on their part but I know what they were doing to save a few members embarrassment. Over here on this site getting embarrassed is part of the deal. If you haven't been put in your place then you're a rookie (maybe a nookie it's all in how you perceive it).😀

Back on May 28th or so was supposed to be the lift of my one year ban. I still can’t post. I don’t want to but I wanted to see if they were going to be true to the rules of the one year ban and since they weren’t I pm’d Shaun and asked if it was a lifetime ban and he gave me a one word answer: No
So I mentioned that I can’t post there even tho it’s been well over a year. Again a one word answer: right!
Why did I ever expect him to be a man of his word anyway? That should tell you everything you need to know about him.

Well I guess it depends on how much revenue he's cost!
But if - as many have suggested - dot net is a semi-commercial venture (at the very least not a loss maker), then visits to the site matter (unless of course you block advertising). If the tirades have cost visits - then...............
And believe me this is NOT a criticism. I occasionally have to moderate replies elsewhere (work).

I've not returned to .net for ages. I lost interest - generally. I think it's age related. That and I started communicating with GOC, Nat etc via other means.

You can bet it's profitable or it wouldn't exist, it has a lot of members and a lot of advertising. Shawn neither rides a Rocket nor I interacts socially with members. I think, but don't know for sure, that he owns the rat site too.
