That was a highly customized bike. The stock bike is much more plain looking. It must have cost a additional 10 grand to make that bike, if not more.

Any old pics of it to share? 15 years and the only things that went wrong was the front forks and starter.

Should maybe point out - only 250 ever made - and I've owned 2 of those. 1981 - 50bhp from a 4 stroke 500cc. LOUD does not really cover it. No tickover - spat fire out of the pipes (and occasionally the carb's) - Rock hard suspension. Blew bulbs for no reason at all. But I miss them.
