As the ever so lost-for-words Clint pointed out, I have not been on the site for a spell; forgive me brothers and sisters. I am back now.
To catch you up, several deaths in the family and lots of other stressors have slowed me down a lot. I simply need to pull myself up by the boot straps and move forward.
Coming home form my Mom's service this week, I stopped by Lupe's house, my Uncle in TN and had breakfast with Kevin in Nashville. Three positive moments that I needed right now.
Looking forward, my 2006 Stratoliner has a new fuel pump but still won't start. I am about to clean the ejectors and do a partial teardown/deep cleaning on it.
Brahma needs new shoes and I am taking the wheels off myself for the first time. The shop will swap the rubber but I am trying to grow up and do more on the bike myself.
Brahma will be fitted with a new full Viking exhaust as well. Soon he needs some new seals and maybe rings. I have an oil leak on the back side and some smoke blowing on start up. Kevin gave me some good insight as to what needs to be done.
Yesterday saw me re-interring our dog Jazz. She passed while I was sending mom off. Pretty Pillion tried to bury Jazz while I was gone but the hard Virginia clay thwarted her. I planted a rose bush as a living tribute to such a wonderful part of our family.
