    Batton Down The Hatches

In the eye of the storm right now. Power is out. I don't see any real damage to anything. The wind has changed, and is starting to pick back up.

It's a scary situation. Living in Fort Walton Beach I was in Camille in 69?. It was terrifying for a 12 year kid. I feel for you guys. Stay safe my friends.🙏

Be careful. With a name like Steel you probably won’t float.

Actually I never could float. In water survival class, and scuba class the instructors said everybody floats. Turns out I'm not like everybody.

No damage luckily. There are lots of houses and businesses who have serious damage. The area near the coast was devastated. We still have no power, and no idea when it'll be back on. AT&T has phone service, but not Verizon.

Well I just picked up my rental. Not sure if I'm being deployed to Louisiana or Texas but I expect a beer either way.

Sounds to me like it would be prudent to lock the place up and get out of there for a few weeks. I can put you up here until we leave for the Utah trip on the 10th after that I guess you would just have to be on the road with us, c’mon.
