I don't know how to Youtube videos in but I started listening to Gary Stewart in 1974. He passed around 2005 or so. He played Honky Tonk music with a southern Rock flavor. He was a Florida boy and lived the typical Honky tonk lifestyle. His son died of and overdose, his wife/agent died so he took his own life. Check his music out. Chances are some old timers on here will go, "yeah, I remember those songs."Comment

Thanks Tex. I will always remember hitting the country bars with my friends and drinking cheap 10 High and Kessler's Whiskey. I had rock friends and country friends but we all enjoyed each others music and went to concerts even if they weren't someone we would see on our own. I saw so many country artists and rock groups. I probably attended a minimum of 50 to 65 concerts. Fun carefree times.Comment

I was suckered into seeing Sedaka in Las Vegas back in 1980. It turned out to be a fantastic show and I had a blast. I was hard into country and rock but really enjoyed his show. Conway was a country favorite of mine. Hello Darlin by him and also Floyd Cramer who my parents played non stop as a child. Good times.
