    BMW cruiser

While getting new skins on my bike took a little walkabout and found the new BMW R18. What a god awful machine. You can't believe the overpowering size of the cylinders. I should of taken some more pictures but I didn't want to attract attention from the sales staff.

BMW tried this before with the r1200c, it never sold. BMW guys aren't cruiser guys and cruiser guys aren't BMW guys

It had no power and drove like chit. The front end kited and wobbled. You are right about cruiser guys and beemdoblews. The most cruisy they get is the large GS motos. One can chew miles ezzy on those, specially the newer ones with bells and whistles. The roadsters are more sport bikes than cruisers. The best of all those gigantic cruisers are the Rocket and the Valkyrie.

One BMW does not make you a BMW guy, Mexican , you're a BMW apprentice. Get a couple more and we'll talk about full membership status. 😛

So one homosexual encounter doesn't make you gay just an apprentice?

I really was looking for that new M class bike I thought they had in stock but it hadn't come in yet. One thing I observe every time I go to that shop which started out as a Triumph shop. There are alot more BMWs in the service dept. than Triumphs. Maybe most BMW riders just have the bank to let others do the wrenching.

        What about having two BMW’s.

My only defense was the first one was bought at a Sheriff’s auction and the second one was a non-runner

Eh I kinda like it. My only issue is it's way too small for me. Then again I liked the looks of the r1200c

I like the lines and different look although the exhaust is butt ugly. Hard pass to own one but I enjoy the visual for what it is. I love all bikes!

Yeah the 1800 is ugly. It only makes 92 HP. Sad. And I don't know why they thought the big ugly seams from the 60s Jap bikes in the mufflers was a good idea.

I sort of understand the Japanese bike thing. My favorite over all bike was my Yamaha 1100. If they came out with a new one I would definitely look at it but I was a younger man then so I don't know if I would buy one again. I really liked being able to throw it around in the curves. The Rocket on the other hand isn't getting thrown around anything. In fact, it may decide to throw 'you' around.👍

There are sooo many cheap nice used bikes n the market all the time that that purchase makes no since to my bike budget. I cant ride with my keens bent 45 degrees for any length of time, or tippy toe a 650 pound GS. Ill go see it since a demo day was announced. Ill go look and maybe ride it..

You're too spoiled by the power of the Rocket, I think.
