K1300s is my bucket list bike, but no cruise control, so it would never replace the k12 for traveling. We've discussed before, my Blackbird is my "almost k1300s" bike. V-rod is not in the same class, IMO.

Vrods are cool bikes and are deceptively fast,but surplus to my "fleet" based on R3 and K1300s ownership

I have a R110RTP. It's a nice bike. Seat is high and it's pretty light. Needs a tad more power but rides and handles great. Also suffers from the congenital BMW defect "remove all covers" to do any maintenance. I mean really, taking off side fairings and mirrors to change a battery????

Does anyone know if the oil in the front tubes can be drained from the bottom and refilled without having to remove them from the bike? This would be for the Magna and eventually the Rocket. & weight might have been too low viscosity when they were last opened up.

Tha Magna is a guzzler. 107 miles with 4 American gallons of gas. That's as little as the Rocket. The dam thing goes to 9000 rpm so easy. Full throttle, when it hits 5000 you get whiplash. It has been re-jetted or something. It is supposed to get 40 mpg. It has Progressive fork springs. One can see that the forks have been taken out and opened up. The oil is just a little soft. I wish there was a kit for a second front disc. The bike stops but not like my Rocket or the Valkie.

All in all the Magna is the perfect cheap pocket cruiser for compact people getting into motorcycling.

32k miles Gona try $3000. Digital pics hide a lot of stuff.
Never rode one of these. People like them. This one is noisy.
Hopefully this is all they have done to the motor.
