Honda ruckus - check this out

    https://powersports.honda.com/street/scooter/ruckus

So this guy at work bought one and had a one-off custom done - Swapped out 49cc for 125cc, auto trans, stretch frame with uni-shock on rear, custom disc brakes...... Cool!

This is a step through bar stool with an inherently weak chassis.
This thing will surely prove to be a poor designed POS.
Adding a larger displacement engine will only further exponentially exacerbate it's POS factor.

🤣🤣🤣 Steve don't take it too seriously - The guy that owns it is not even a motor guy. He said it's about a 60 mph machine & he only rides it to work. It will never be put to the test

It may be tested, if ridden in traffic, which is serious. An unexperienced rider is even worse.
No way I'd go 60 on that thing and I reckon that I would qualify as a not very conservative rider.

And I see sheeple going to work on mopeds with 45 mph max 🙄
This creature is unique. A challenge? Yes, but who’s afraid of a challenge?

If you're over 100 lbs not a good idea. Some of the thrown together engine and frames I rode as a kid were death traps so with that in mind I would have rode this one in a second. I was a kid then and bounced a lot better. I would ride this one but certainly not over 25 mph or so as it does look like it would break in half if you had some girth on you. 👍

it was all fab’d at a reputable shop in Houston, check out their pipe. Only thing left from factory on this was the seat and seat frame
