New bike

I won't have it in my hands for a month, though
The seller is a regular on Advrider, and fairly near me, too, in Northeast, PA, the actual name of the city. But my trailer is full, I have no way to get it down there. So he's a pretty good guy, we worked out a deal, I gave him a deposit, and after I get back to Florida, I'll grab my bike trailer, and he's going to meet me half way in Raleigh, NC, where my daughter lives. He'll get to do some nice riding, he's bringing another bike, and I'll get to see my daughter. It was love at first sight for me, but I didn't think there was any way to work it out, but we did.

Bikes around Chicago are almost always low miles......The majority just sit in garages.....When you posted the pic of yours, I remembered just seeing this one....BMW and Guzzi usually low miles...

S makes 100 hp, my Harley friends think it's a rocket, it's a gentleman's sportbike, quick but not really fast. Certainly not compared to the Blackbird or Rocket, even the K1200GT has 30 hp on it

We did a benefit ride for a local rider who was in a bad accident. Everyone has been telling me how fast one guy's Harley is, S&S motor, etc, it's really fast! On the ride back to the last bar, I took off and left the pack behind, I never even saw headlights behind me. When I got into town and the 25 mph zone, he came flying up behind me. He tried to pass a couple times, I just walked away from him easily. The ironic part is the K1100S is the slowest bike I own, other than my antique side car rig. At the bar he said damn, son, that thing is fast, and bought me a beer. He said I was the oldest guy he's seen ride that fast, lol. I barely hit 130, I had no idea he was chasing me.

Hahaha no HD is going to out run a carpenter kit I know I run one all the time only way I get him is on top end he won't got over 130 HD slow plain and simple even with what I've done to mine its not super fast I am missing my Concourse lately
