Getting reacquainted with an old friend

Pulled the jailbird K1300s out of hibernation getting it ready to get the fuel pump recall done. I don't think has been ridden in 9 months or more. It has lost out riding time to the other bikes in the fleet, crazy work hours, chores around the place etc.. It fired right up, I aired-up the tires and rode it down the county road to the FM road and back. I did goose it some, not a lot - but this bike is AWESOME, I have a hopped-up Road King, an 05 Rocket, VRod, but HOLY SH!#$#!$T this thing will pull your eyeballs out

I need to give it a bath, replace some faded plastics, get some fresh gas, inspection/registration, and then take it for the recall.

Just wish it was cooler outside

At the sheriff's sale where i was high bidder circa 2017


After i got it home, cleaned-up, and replaced bad fuel pump with one from a Ford LTD ($90 vs the $300 BMW part - it was identical)


In the wild on a beautiful day. Resting after a hard early morning run to breakfast. I had taken a day off and spent most of it on the bike. It can definitely write checks I can't cash.
