    I am indeed old but, city boy raised.

                old water cooled 1 cyl engine, used to power stationary machinery ,water pump or grain grinder maybe.sometimes called a hit&miss motor,will run on many different fuels.

                  wagon is most likely farmer made or blacksmith made , those moters where usuallyjust mounted on skids .

                    Here's the scoop.....1931-1935 International Harvester Company, 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 HP gasoline motor, Governor speed controlled(300-500RPM) Type LA
                    My father in law did use items like these when he was farming with his parents long ago....He would take my kids out to old engine shows ETC.....My youngest would watch these motors w/Grandpa operate small pumps etc. I found a complete one at a fair price and will help him restore it, if he asks for help....a neat B'day present...for him
