For 1 month!! Just got a call from the dealer and I need a new tank. They will order it from the UK so I get to wait a month and then maybe they will fix the radiator/oil leak(?) also. Then touch up the scratches and replace the dead battery. I'm so pissed at the time and the problems now. My bike sitting for a month. It was scratch free and polished 1000 times in the 2 months I've had it. It was cathartic for me. God Damn it a brand new bike with all these problems. Why me? Also, my Lamonster tank pads are history also. FFFUUUUCCKK!!

The post is almost 3 years old although I did get everything remedied. The scratches were on the exhaust black area. I managed to buff them out myself. The scratches were the least of my problems but like I stated, It's all good and they took care of it relatively fast. It's just when you get a new bike you don't expect to have gas shoot out of your gas tank resulting in a brand new tank to replace the brand new tank. Whew!

The 4th rear brake bleed rear cylinder thingy done 2 weeks ago. I put a few hundred miles on the Rocket since and it's still working well. It usually lasts around 500 miles but starts going out at 300 miles. Fingers crossed the the 4th time is a charm.

I think it's the un-luck of the draw. A lot of guys on here have had zero issues and then guys like me have to have the fuel tank changed after the first fill-up. 4 brake bleeds and 1 new rear cylinder. I do like my Rocket as it is quicker than my 05 and 14 Rockets but I wish I would have kept my 14. My second favorite bike I have owned after my 81 Yamaha 1100 XS. Now that was a groovy bike.

Went for a quick ride today around 100 miles. I did freeway and backroads using the rear brake more than usual. It isn't as firm as it was last week but still strong and will certainly stop as expected. The last 3 times it did the same thing. Very tight and strong and then slowly the pedal went down further and further until nada. I don't know if it will keep going down although history says it probably will. Hope I'm wrong. I'll know for sure in around a month or so. If I go back for a 5th bleed I may be the Champ of brake bleeds. I should at least get an award or Trophy from Triumph. Maybe I should wait until it finally get's fixed before I receive my much anticipated award. "To MM on his 54th brake bleed, 06/16/2026".

I have to say they are really very sympathetic at the dealer and really are decent peeps. They went over my options such as what you stated because I can't be expected to have to go in every 3 to 5 months. I believe before any of that happens they would take my Rocket and keep it there at the dealer and try to figure out when it starts to fail. That could be months and a ton of miles. Maybe this one will hold. Going out again tomorrow and I will again use more rear brake than necessary to expedite the problem. I can buy rear pads so that's not my concern just want to see if the pedal stays firm.🤞

A quick 100 miles most back roads. Not anything crazy but hit the rear brakes much more than usual. Still holding firm. I'm keeping a log if you will just so I know the mileage and and time when it first starts to show signs of failure if it in fact does this time. I plan on a 250-300 mile trip next week up into the Sierra's where there are a good amount of twisties and freeway if I head towards Truckee or North Lake Tahoe. Riding around Lake Tahoe still is a great ride. I've done it around 40 to 50 times around the lake and around 200 times on a motorcycle up the California side and ride north or south depending if I went SR 50 (south) or I80 (North). It is still beautiful as the first time I saw it. Crowded as hell but still a sight. Good times!
