what is with the time on the posts they do not match any zone I’m familiar with.

when I click new posts I don’t see what I just did come up? Help me understand how to view the most recent activity.

When someone likes a post it doesn’t say who, it only says a user likes your post, can you fix that? it’s important for me to know who still supports my lunacy

I saw that, it even told me that when I was on as administrator, I'll look into it. The one column of settings is a mile long, I spent an hour going through and tweaking it, when I went to save, it warned me there was an error, was I sure? I don't really know what I'm doing, so I chickened out and didn't save, so I have to do it all over again. I think I fixed the 10 character minimum post or comment limit, I set it to 3, so any pictures of me, you can now just say wow!
that was a chore to post, got attacked by a bee 3 times and lost page in my gyrations

Where it says forums at the top, click on that will show "latest activity", click on that. I'm as new as you guys, it takes a while to get used to the way the site works. There are tweaks, but it's a specific template. As I get more familiar, or some tutoring or help, I may be able to switch to a different template

In your personal settings, choose posts, not topics, and then when you are in forums, it will show which threads have new posts, just figured it out myself yesterday.

Apparently the default time zone is GMT in London.
PDT is -7 hrs, so youse in the east are -4 hrs.

I think I fixed that, but now I have to go back and allow daylight savings time. That bitch of living rural is I lose my 4g every ten minutes, and lose whatever changes I made

Don't complicate life. Leave it in its' "out of the box" condition. Less work if we get hacked. That's 40 years of IT experience right there!.

I just want to figure out how to add a new posts button. Sometimes I get a page where all the threads with new posts are highlighted, but then I can't remember what I did different, if anything.

Distance Rider Dave took a quick look at the site, and said he should have no problem adding a new posts button on the header and changing the font size.
We just got back from a Pennsylvania ride, hopefully he has time in the next week or so

rocketfrvb is there a button or some way that when I click on a thread that it takes me to the last post I have read? I am flustered when I have to scroll for those few extra seconds to find where I left off. TIA
