        My friend,
I appreciate your toast and your excellent choice of whiskey!
Do you want to take opposite sides (JB) and go again for a husky?

I'm not that dumb, I didn't bet against Trump because he was Trump, I'll take the same side against Biden, or anyone else who is president. All politicians discover that they can buy votes and campaign contributions with other people's money, and that paying it back will be the next guy's problem after they're gone. It will continue to rise under Biden.

For probably the 100th time, being anti Trump does not make me pro Biden nor a Democrat. When you have a former Republican president saying publicly that he wouldn't be voting for Trump, and the foremost intellectual of conservatism, George Will, stating the same, I shouldn't need to keep explaining it.

I'm sorry Chris. I never have understood the never-trump camp. I just like the guy. For me it is not a party thing. It was the America First, beware of zina making many of the things we need and use and made her in the past, control immigration, climate can be changed is a joke and other things that made me a fan.

The spending... we'r broke, so they say. Perhaps not, who knows. I can't tell. What I see is money buying less of everything rapidly, except gasoline and the utilities which are rather cheap. The USA has have been giving money away to foreign countries for decades probably to gain influence in those lands in the name of global wellness and justice. Some does good. Some goes to corruption.

Like I'v said <100 times, I hope the in-coming gang has game and that they will "drive" America judiciously. America has a lot of horse power.

I think the election was unfair and "stolen" in several ways. The "leaders" just repeat the talking point of the day... stay on message and there is no believing either side. Trump disrupted the dance of the capitolians. Even Lady Justice had to move her blindfold to use as a mask out of fear of civil unrest. (So it seem to me).

Tarrifs, trade wars, deficit spending, I'm amazed at how readily people put Party before principle.

You are aware that Trump spent more.of his adult life registered as a Democrat than a Republican, right? And that Ivanka only switched her registration from Democrat to Republican in 2016, when Trump announced his candidacy? But Democrats are evil, the enemy, they both swear to it, lmao.

Somewhat true, but you only hear about man bites dog in the news, not dog bites man. I have friends that are Democrats, they worked for 50 years, paid their taxes, sent their kids to college, never looted anything. But you see the rioters and looters on TV. They're no more Democrats than, well, in my opinion, Trump is a Conservative
Or the Aryyn Nation, are they typical Christians? No more than the typical Muslim is a terrorist

I have another friend from forum past that is a republican and he swings just like Tripp’s, TriumPhil.... I love em both
but would like for them to quit hating Trump because of the things he says and instead judge him by what he has done (see 1K9’s list)

Sorry, to me, character matters, that's how I was raised. Nobody was further right than my father, gone 33 years now, but I know exactly what he would think of Trump.

And true is true, false is false, " alternative facts" my ass, quoting one of Trump's many press spokespersons, I forget which one, I lost count of the revolving door in his administration of almost every single position. Like I said, I have no problems with opinions that disagree with mine, we're still a free country, and all the regulars here donated, ($950 out of $1144 cost, close enough for me), but my problem is with false information. And don't ever think you have to mince words or go easy on me because I started the forum. I promised no censorship and I meant it. If you want to call me an asshole, feel free, there are no repercussions.

Damn, fucking Gene, my father, a construction superintendent, like me, taught me the trade.
He was building a bank once, I was about 18, he caught the bank vice president in charge of the job in a lie, he had no respect for the guy, it became a problem.
The owner of the company my dad worked for came out to the job to.make peace. The VP tried to shake hands with my father, he wouldn't. My father's boss ordered him to shake hands, his hand remained at his side, he wouldn't, he didn't, and he kept his job with no repurcussions
                That's how he was.

Trump is in the past. He was/is very polarizing but voted for him because he was different. I don’t love the Republican Party and I hate the Democraps. I have no where to turn for leadership theses days but I know Biden is not my president.

I will toast to freedom while we still have a little bit left.
