It's a sad game that our elected officials have thought up to make themselves, look good, feel good and have everyone else play the game. In order to play this moronic game you can not and will not ask questions. Just obey while the elected officials refuse to. "A sudden lapse in judgement on my part so nothing to see here, move along and wear your mask" "Not apologizing just saying I got caught disobeying my own restrictions so suck it tiny people."
I’m not going to be shut down so easily again. And you can wipe your ass with wash cloths and launder them if the paper is gone and shit still happens.
Take vitamin C, B zinc and selenium. Keep your guard up. Don't trust that the face covering is a good shield. It is not. If you go out, keep hand sanitizer in your car and bike. The gas nozzle is highly infectious. Counters and shopping carts are too. The vaccine might not be as good as portrayed. If you have any weaknesses, be extra careful. It is a war zone out there. In-coming is everywhere. I now some people are gun-ho. I'm a pussy with this covid chit. My T-cells levels are 1/2 of normal. Even the doctors don't know. They have different opinions and resources. If one is too vocal, one gets tagged and ostracized. These are difficult and uncertain times my friend. It will pass, just not soon. IMO 6 to 12 month more if this. I think covid will never go totally away. I am waiting to see how the population reacts to the vaccine. Probably getting the current influenza vax. Waiting to see what my oncologist recommends.
Thanks Rick. I watched some of it but honestly I’m about in Covid overload. I’m burned out listening to all the opinions on this virus. I am sorry for you and your condition and I don’t blame you for being very zealous about limiting exposure. Me on the other hand am just ready to face this thing and die or get on with regular life. I’ve been exposed at least five times and have not developed significant symptoms. I’ve coughed a few times, felt a bit chilled at times, cleared a phlegm throat and had some aches and pains but never felt sick or lost taste or smell.
Have I had it? I don’t know. I’m not going to get tested and add to the scare machine statistics unless I get sick. I feel fine and am continuing to work and play with reasonable minimal precautions. It’s my life and I’m going about it my way. You know that in the dental profession I’m on the front line of the assault and that’s my career decision. No regrets.
On the upside my gun and ammo collection has grown. I’ve sold the wife on the needed protection fantasy.😂
I hear you brother. The whole nation is on overload. That is without even mentioning the political war unfolding over the election process and results. At least we have means, shelter, water, food, guns and ammo. It's worth mentioning that the vax has been laced with luciferase. Once vaxed the dorsum of the hand will fluoresce under a black light. Pretty Luciferic ahh?
Half of me says Rick is right, the other half says Mel is right.
When i started this thread it was only my sister, now my brother in law tested positive and older daughter is starting to show symptoms. I would go with Mel, lets get it and get it over with, if we die we die but the at least the uncertainty will no longer be there
The only thing I can add is my significant other is in the medical field. At work, protocol is gloves, mask and face shield. Well, she got covid from what she believes was a patient. But it makes no difference where. She was hospitalized and also got pneumonia. For a short time I wasn't sure if she would make it. She did, but now even a month later still has shortness of breath. This thing is VERY real I say to the naysayers. And yes, you can die but its not an easy death. You gasp for air like a fish out of water and finally relief comes in the form of a coma. I consider you all friends even tho we haven't met...even you Clint. So please, do the best you can in protecting yourself and your families.
Wow... what an anecdote. Cathy and I had our affairs and wishes legalized and prepared for the worse. Even in the case where we both get sick and get separated. We are both mid 60s. Do you mind if i call you ONG?
This bug is no big deal as long as you don't get it. If you do, life might never be the same for you. If you are superman you will be OK. The cost to our nation and the world will be incalculable. Here in the US the cost of hospitalization of a senior with covid is at least $40,000. I personally think it is more like $400,000. A recent ER+overnight stay for a fall due to syncopal episode, medication error related was 40K.
Wife & I had it, my son & his wife, my daughter & her husband had it, many coworkers I’m in close contact with had it and their spouses.
some of us got very sick but are healthy & got past it. Mother in law got it but was already one foot in the grave and she lasted 2 days. It was her time to go.
Life......... then death.
main thing is, know where you’ll end up 😉
I would like to ride Northern Georgia and west Tennessee. Lets see if Dr. D can find us a place to visit him in his neck of the woods. I like WV but is is faaar.
