Don't start a conversation with 'Sore Butt". It did peak Clint's interest though. 800 miles? Wow!! The most I went was a tad over 500-530 something like that and I thought I was King-Boss. At the end of my ride I couldn't go another mile. Impressive on your part to say the least. š

That's about how far it is for me. The more I think about going, the more I look at riding the Goldwing. I took out the R3 yesterday morning for a couple hours and then took the Goldwing out after lunch for a couple more. Besides a raging sunburn to show my butt is just fine. While the Rocket3 was definitely more fun to ride, the GL1800 was much more comfortable and smooth. The wind was virtually gone and listening to some tunes with my feet out on the highway pegs. Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive was rockin'.Originally posted by Mexican View PostMost i ever did was 1060 miles in a day, and part of the night.
Now, if is 150 miles away, i trailer

Newport Beach is a really nice place or at least it was. I was down there on and off from 79 to 84. The last time was on a trip to San Diego we stayed at a Hyatt by Fashion Island mall around 12 years ago . Pretty cool but as crowded as hell. We dont go down there anymore due to heavy crime and lawlessness. Everyone with a job is leaving. I live in an oasis here in Placer county but I feel the walls slowly closing in. Cheers.
by the way. Bored and just randomly reading old posts and reminiscing. Take care my friends.
