Air bag jeans

Shouldn't be too bad. I ride mostly in fine weather and in summer here it gets HOT. I usually ride here in "Resurgence" fully lined cargo pants all year. The plus of the airbag jeans is that you can remove the airbag and walk about in the jeans - which being Dyneema will feel cool unlike Kevlar which feels warm.

Chris,
The multi state rides I frequently take usually reach temps over 100Β° F.
Tis the riding part that is HOT, not the walking.

Yup - I get that. I find the pants I have are fine on the move even in way over 40ΒΊC - They flow air well (mesh inner liner) but are thick enough to stop infra-red direct radiation. Their jacket sadly has a dumb polyester lining inside the Kevlar that does not breath well. For long (UK) trips I tend to use a "Buell Adventure Suit" I won in a raffle. It's better than folk expect - not water proof but that's why we have waterproofs. Otherwise stunning.

GrayBeard,
Riding gear is no different than everything else. When you combine functions the odds of failure exponentially increase.
I devote my left pannier to ride gear, layered for cold (no 'lectric) and rain.
No more riding in Ts for me. I always wear a jacket (leather or mesh), boots, and gloves.
Bring your handsome new smile over here and let's go riding!

WOW!Originally posted by barbagris View PostSmile still incomplete. Another 6 months of bone reconstruction waiting.
What an excruciating adventure you are on, Amigo. You make me realize how very fortunate I am to still carry all my teeth into my 77th year.
My offer remains on the table. Beside a Roadster, I have little street legal Yamaha XD 250.

No pain etc - but at the moment I am not allowed to fly (least-ways advised not to) as serious over/under pressure of the sinus could muck up the gubbins in the upper jaw. Hoping to "resign" before summer - and then start some distance work again. I really want to see the Balkans - and who knows maybe I can pop into the Ukraine (you can even now with "war insurance") https://visitukraine.today/products/war-risks-insurance .
