From/in Texas. Been working the oilfields from Texas, to western Oklahoma, to Wyoming, to the deepwater Gulp of Mexico. Retired now and trying to spend the hoard and enjoy life ahead of the rats racing. Hence the need/desire for a fast mofo putt. Ride on.
Your ride still in motorcycle jail at the stealers? The bottom line to me anyway is the newer gen comes a few issues. More so than a bike that price should have. My 05 I bought used with 10K miles on it had been worked on exhaust/PC and tune. It was a fast mofo but would stall at least 3 times always going to stops or slowing down (sound familiar). My 14 I had dyno'ed
with TORS was just a blast with zero problems. I wish I could have kept it. My 2020 has had a few problems such as gas spilling all over me on the 3rd fil lup due to what was suspected EVAP system but turned out to be I needed a new tank so I lost out on the two Lamonster union jacks I had on it because they weren't bought from Triumph so they wouldn't replace the tank protectors. I got a new tank and the stalling problem stopped when I went to 87 octane and I don't 'blip' the engine while downshifting coming to a stop. I really think that was the culprit. I'm glad I have and really do enjoy the comfort and acceleration. So, it's all good.👍
