Worked a few concerts he did here in Tacoma back in the 80s.
Helluva showman, but very bossy and rude to his sideman.
Last of the originals and one of a kind!
        RIP Killer!

I went to one of his concerts in Tacoma in the 80's. I got drunk and this short, burly guy picked me up and tossed me on my head. He was a bouncer I think. 😁

I heard James Brown was a real ass to his band members and would fine them all the time. "Hit me, ya better dig em."

I wonder who that short Burly guy was. I was probably working that concert if it was at the Tacoma Dome.
Also, just FYI, 5'11" is not short. How tall are you, my Mouse?

You know I was just messing with you. I knew you were around that height from an earlier post. I'm 5'9" and now 185 lbs. I was down to 179 a few months ago but got grounded and couldn't do much but eat. I do love to eat. It's funny but at a younger age I drank like most on here but the Apache in me made me want to fight. The worse ass kicking I got was from a guy 5'7" 155 lbs. I will never forget that lesson. It was a blur and that's all I remember.

I knew it was a joke Mousy. If my answer came across terse, twas unintensional, brother and I apologize.
I was 185 when I started weights at 23 years. 2 years or so later I was a solid 225. After I retired I put on about 2 lb a year and now sit about 50 lb fat!

I knew that you knew that I knew. No, I didn't take it as negative at all. I'm fairly bullet proof and sometimes treat my friends the same so I can take what I dish out. This Halloween candy that is left over is killing me. I need to get back in the game. Getting up in the morning is way to big of a chore. A few less pounds of baggage should help.πŸ‘

Yeah, the re-finding is as bad as the original except you get to see it twice. At least I'm not at the point where I can play 'Wipeout' on my gut (again)😎
