Crappy day

So on saturday my kitchen sink started backing up and draining super slow. So i decided to tackle the job myself.

Previous owners thought they were plumbers. They were not. The sink drains were installed incorrectly, they didnt use a drain pipe with the dishwasher connection so they rigged the dishwasher drain into the cleanout.

I redid all the plumbing under the sink then ran a snake down the cleanout as far as i could but couldnt get it past the elbow in the crawlspace. Still clogged.

So then i bought some drain cleaner (strongest stuff they sell it even came with a bag around the bottle in case it leaked). Dumped the whole bottle in and let it sit for an hour then dumped hot water behind it.

Still clogged.

Woke up this morning and now my shower is clogged too....

Called the septic guys since the shower is the last drain before the septic tank and they said since the toilets still work its a plumbing issue.

I hate this stuff.

John, i was stuck with him 2 weeks ago for an entire week, had to go to school for an entire week from 8 to 5 in order to get my back flow test certification since no one in the company was certified. It was the most stressful thing that i have done in many years, very difficult for my limited level of education, the math needed was college level math, my level of education is 6th grade!!! Someone already beat you to it. $500 later its fixed.

So they used the snake with the drill attached for about 2hrs. When that didnt work they used the balloon thingy and they said when they did that the clog popped out. No clue what it was.
