Your previous post venting your frustration and wroth against the purile and vindictive childishness on another restrictive domain did NOT read very well. You shouted 'cocksucker' x 3 and 'that felt good' š±š±š±
Maybe I'm just making too much fun out of a serious post...apologies!

Well, I survived another onslaught by the surgeons. A little scar tissue removed and oesophagus stretched from 2mm (0.079") to 18mm (0.71") Bit of bruising but no splits! Got to go back again in a couple of months for a repeat performance as it will shrink again by as much as 50%. Makes drinking beer so much easier...
If there is more than one page in 1olbull 's book I would be priviledged and dont forget
BLUE BIKES RULE the World!!

Good news from the K9. Saw the oncologist. My blood and freaked out macroglobulin counts are normal. He says that I have enough bloody power to deal with covid, if I were to get it. One 3 month recall, one six month recall and then yearly recalls.
Getting my influenza and covid vaccines soon. No more chemo. Should live 5 to 10 in good condition. I'm 66. Thank you Jesus! Let's ride!
What's the deal with the new British covid variant. Here in merica we hear you people were packing the trains escaping London. Is this fake news?

I have many pages, most are pretty interesting, some forgettable. You are atop my first page!Originally posted by Grumpy Old Codger View PostWell, I survived another onslaught by the surgeons. I do trust that after these horrible sounding procedures, you are not considering cocksucker-ing?!?!?!?
BTW - I do like BLUE, but after wearing, working, and driving in it for 22+ years, it does tire me a tad.

That's teriffic news regarding the blood counts - always on the up, no other way to go! As for the covid bug, this is real news. Went into London, South Kensington, this morning and the place was deserted. I just love this lock-down thingy as it makes driving in the city sooooo much easier. The new strain or variant of the covid bug is twice as easy to catch and apparently the younger generations are more at risk from infection. All airports and docks are closed as no one wants a Brit travelling to their country. Started by the Frogs I might add and linked to the Brexit negotiations. We spent hundreds of years kicking the crap out of them, why did we stop????

Is it as bad as the regular version or too early to tell?

It appears that the 2 new strains are more easily transmissable by upto 70% but no facts or figures yet that I can find on the effects. There is a lot of waffle and bullshit in the media and trying to find facts is a tediious affair. No doubt information will be made available very slowly as usual, allowing all the social media pundits - Becky from Farcebook etc - to proclaim the end of the world and armageddon! Have fun with google!!

Hi Steve and all fellow enthusiasts - update required? Okay, well nothing much has changed since the last posting about throat stretching. That has worked quite well and so far, no evidence of it shrinking. Saliva production is still limited BUT is improving very very slowly! Patience is the order of the day on this one. As for the latest check up (last week) this was merely a telephone call (due to covid etc) to check on progress. Next full check up and tests is on Friday 30th April at 10.30am. A full day on the scanners, being made radioactive again, blood tests etc. This will be the15 month check up after treatment and if clear, points the way to being cured. Any recurrence or change, spread of the condition normally shows up in the first 9 months but they hold out for the longer period of 15 months. Fingers crossed and all that crap!!
So while you lot are roaring around the country side, eating, drinking, and making merry I'll be short of blood, full of holes, and radioactive!! ššššš¾š¾š¾š„š»Last edited by Grumpy Old Codger; 02-06-2021, 08:44 AM.
