I'm afraid I have been caught up in this forums high points when it started to low points of infighting and arguments to me posting out of anger at times. I went back and deleted a ton of posts that I look back on and they didn't sound like I intended with some even hateful. I am guilty of posting my beliefs and seem to have become an angry guy lately based on our political environment around us. I don't like the angry me and when I come on this forum I get angry because a lot of what's posted is true and a lot seems very far-far right and not true. For my sanity I'm stepping away for a while but not because of my dislike for the crew but just some of the posts are not in line with my beliefs but I jumped on the bandwagon because I'm not pleased with our political environment. As much as I dislike politicians on both sides of the isle I wish all long, healthy lives. Peace out. I'll see you guys soon. MM out!

Starts off as a forum for those of us who were not able to say certain things on the other forum. Yes, a motorcycle forum. But only in the sense that we keep our like minded friends together.
Most if not all of us do not participate in any other social media platforms, so this being the only place to say what we gotta say, amongst mostly like minded, let Er rip.
We do so because we are tired of being lied to constantly 24/7.
We can’t believe that what our founders stood and even died for, lost everything over, and sacrificed so much, is being so easily flushed down the commode and even stomped on n burned down.
I can’t even wrap my head around why some can not be outraged or just totally unaffected.
Terry, I assume you posted this in response to the comment and then reactions regarding shooting immigrants crossing the border.
When criminals commit a crime, there should be consequences, but only after proven guilty (in this country). And that’s how it should be. I understand certain individuals frustration that the criminals (yes, when you illegally break into our sovereign nation by sneaking across the border or blatantly over run authorities you are a criminal just like breaking into a house) are not having to be put thru a process of being proven guilty. That being said, if unauthorized non law enforcement persons as well as law enforcement personnel shoot and kill those crossing the border without due process that is murder and you are no better.
If they are crossing the border by storming it while armed and shooting at any of us citizen or law enforcement alike, that is war. Then if you shoot and kill them you are a patriot.
So that needed to be separated.
If you believe in your convictions, say what you gotta say. We can either listen or just scroll to the next post. I’ve read posts and liked them, I’ve read posts from those who are very much like minded with my beliefs but they say things I think are too far or off the reservation, don’t like it, scroll to the next.
It doesn’t matter how bad we believe things are. Individually we can not change any of it.
Im a believer in the higher being so I’m not capable of doing anything more than put this in his hands and pray for God to pull our fat outa the fire.
The sky is not falling yet.

I'm back already. Only to respond to your well written post Tex.👍 Mel is my boy so no it wasn't what he stated as I knew it is only out of frustration that we all have and I like Mel a lot. I just have become to obsessive about politics lately and I feel I'm angrier most of the time. I will be back my friend but I just want to cool my wheels awhile and chill out. I need to do that as my disposition is carrying over in my personal life. As I said, I dig this site but it is a little toxic for me right now. Knowing most of you personally and some of you only via forum, I must say that you all are good in my book, i never had a bad experience on any of the gatherings i have attended in 15 years, for the most part we all respect each other and politics never show their ugly face around the fire or around the table, i have known Mr Mouse via forums for many years and have nothing but respect for him, same thing goes for Mr Bull and everybody else. Hell, i have been in lots of houses, including Rktnmypkt , Widowmaker and few others, always been treated like a brother and i am grateful and proud of call each and every one oy you my friends.
Nothing wrong with expressing one's opinions but there is a thin line that can get everybody in trouble if big brother starts monitoring this site.
The name of this thread is RESPECT, and i have plenty of it for all of you.

I do agree with the original post more so that we all have become so angry about the adaptation to the lies and corruption that has been shoved down our throats and we need to take a step back, regather ourselves and try to get these problems solved with thought rather than emotion.
The reaction of emotion is going to scar our heart and soul if we let it eat at us.
It has become toxic i too feel the need to step back.

Good post, Terry. I guess I was raised, and raised my kids differently than some. If you don't like the way things are, either do something to change it, or suck it up and deal with it. Complaining was always unacceptable, it exudes weakness.
And yeah, we have friends here who are immigrants or spouses of immigrants, how do you think shit like that makes them feel?
And unlike some of the wacko conspiracy shit posted here, it's a verifiable fact that the government has the capability to intercept and store all communications, phone, texts, posts, and does. Now obviously the sheer volume precludes anyone ever looking at 99.999% of it. But like tagging someone or doing a search, all you need are keywords that will kick out the stuff that you want a human to look at. In these times, you don't think " shoo*ing, im*igrants at *order" might be something the government might want to take a look at? Use some fucking common sense here, it's my ass on the line for this place, last thing I need is the government on my ass.Comment
