    Here are my last thoughts on this subject.

    I find it Rich that the most vocal opponent to moderators deleting our posts on a whim without so much as an explanation on the last site is making jokes and telling me to chill when it starts happening on this site.

    Oh what short memories we all have!

    Sonny has been slandered and cursed on this site to no end, but I call Chris's friend an asshole and that's Libel?
    Give me a break!
    Hell Chris called me Ugly a few days ago (its true I am ugly) How is that any different than me calling his friend an asshole? (any lawyers in the house?)

    Most of us originals here left the other site due to heavy handed inconsistent moderation without any explanation. Most of it by Chris's friend.
    Yet when Chris does the same to me here and I point it out, that opens me up to derogatory memes and comments from the moderator?
    and you all support this?
    A courtesy message from Chris before deleting my post would have gone a long way.

    You suggested if I don't like this forum I'm free to find another and you are absolutely correct. You seem to forget however who helped you with the start up of this site both financially and with our time. In spite of its clunkiness and quirks we put up with it because we are all friends and have a vested interest here.
    And because until now we were free to voice our opinions.

    as for your last comment regarding you would do the same for me?

    I don't need your protection, I'm fully aware of who my friends are on these sites and who are not, if someone wants to call me an asshole or any other name I welcome the criticism.

        Ok, that’s directed at me so:
        Chris he is mad that you deleted his post that called out the Mod at net site. He has pointed out that you didn’t take same action with posts from others on here about the same person, prolly including me, and posts about others people with no action taken. I have to agree with him having a problem with that.
        But I look at it assuming you let it all go so far and then finally decided to end it.
        So if you don’t mind, if you delete a post send us a PM letting us no why

          You are correct, I very nearly did the same to Paul a while back, but figured that eventually he would figure out his ban was never going to end at the other site while the relevant posts remained up here, I believe that I even told him so. I thought Rocketfrvb post was explanation enough. I guess I just never understood losing your temper, it's an alien concept for me ( like sports fandom, I never understood it). I've gotten in plenty of fights, both physical and verbal, but it was always a calculated move, I never let my emotions overrule logic. Probably makes me a weird person, I'm sure many would agree, lol.

            Well, you might blame (credit?) me for some of that -- when someone has something of value on the site, value being something someone in the future might want to know and find in a search, and grammar spelling is not their strong suit, I would go in as a "spell checker" and update the post.

              What I don't like is when a moderator edits/changes my posts! How often do you feel compelled to do that?
              (I hope that doesn't sound hostile, I'd really like to know)

                  I had a post altered by a moderator 🙄 on the .net site along with a message from said moderator with an explanation as to why he did it. Pissed me off to no end (but I kept my mouth shut). What was going through my head was if I wanted it to be the way you made it I would have written it that way. I don’t need someone looking over what I post and saying oh let’s make this better. Still have a foul taste in my mouth over that.

                    Well, you were treated better than I was. My post had content removed however I was never contacted by the mod that altered it, or anyone else from management, so I don't even know who it was.
                    It's my opinion that it should be a policy that a moderator at least tell the forum member why he modified his post. If a moderator is unwilling to contact the member then he shouldn't change his post!

                      No, this is a perfect example of why most of us left!
                      There is no fuckin reason to alter someone’s post if it doesn’t break the sovereign ones rules.
                      Like Plow Horse said, if I wanted it written your way I would have done so.
                      If I misspell or am grammatically incorrect, SO WHAT! It’s real from a human, not computer generated.
                      you are taking humanity out of the world and making the world robotic.
                      This is exactly the same mentality that gives EVERYONE a participation trophy!
                      And in turn is why the world can no longer stand on its own two feet.
                      Keep pussying that site up even further. If this site ever started doing that (I know it won’t) I’d be out in a heartbeat!
