Right?? Got a new battery and it seems to be behaving better, but I'm not convinced the problem is "gone" gone.

If anyone is interested in getting some engraved like mine, let me know. Can also do black background, chroming, and gold inlays.

I've got a guy here in Norman that does it, he does good work and can do about any design

You and the Doc should get together for a collaboration and make some sweet looking engraved braces.

I'd love to be able to start to learn to engrave, but the machines to get started cost about $1100, and that's kind of a pricey entry for me.

Hum I do like them. My Roadster is black and white and very clean looking and plain I wonder if it would be to much on my bike. How much cost? How easy is it to put them on?

You coming to the Leakey run this year? I could put 'em on yours and see if it's too much. I guess you'd probably be riding the new one though. Engraving is $70 pre shipping, they're really easy to put on, just one bolt each.

We won’t be coming to Leaky but thanks for the offer let me see them on the bike. So I ship him my end caps and he engraves and sends back? What is the turn around time?

This is his website. Yes, you can have yours engraved, or you could send him a new pair and have him engrave those. His turnaround time may vary a little, depending on how much work he has going on. Mine took about a week, but he had other projects going at the time.

I think I’d like to try this mod. How much to send me one set? Postage plus.

I wonder what kind of patterns are available? A Rocket motif would be a cool theme.

I think it's just me. I'm bringing the solenoid repair kit in case the shit goes sideways, but I haven't had the issue since I replaced the battery.

Many, many times battery replacement has solved unexplainable 'lectrical gremlins for me!

Mine too. If the battery ever discharges by leaving lights on and such, it's done. The R3 should have a car battery or two batteries.
              Working...
