I have D and D pipes on my Touring, everything else in the exhaust is stock. I recently got a cross over pipe to replace the stock one but the pipe diameter is different from stock. The new crossover pipe fits the stock header fine but not the D and D's. The stock crossover has a muffler pipe diameter of just under 1 and 1/2 inches and the new crossover has a pipe diameter of 1 and 5/8 inches.
Have any of you run into this mismatch with D and D pipes? And what did you do to correct it? The D and D slip ons are slotted and could be spread to a slightly larger diameter but they can't be opened up enough to slip over the new crossover pipes.
