WTF? Why can't the palm readers make up their minds?
My crystal ball says there will be good weather throughout our ride!
    Count on it!

I think it’s a relative thing, Tulsa is beautiful compared to Okla. City, which is only beautiful if you like flat land, red dirt and wind.

I was not impressed with Tulsa, but the host was great.

We shall not ne nearly as far north or as high in elevation.
Beartooth is a weather anomaly and not comparable to our ride locations.

Even those temps are not problematic.

Just to illustrate how fickle the Beartooth Pass weather is, The first time I rode it was from Red Lodge, in sunshine, clear and dry - and awesomely beautiful on my 65th B-Day, October 6, 2011. Twas such a "religious" experience I stayed in a Cooke City motel and the next morning I rode it again back to Red Lodge. I have ridden it six times since that year.

I’d like to get there at a decent hour on Friday but I hate to push to hard and get worn out before the party begins.😴 it is a two day ride in the truck. 1622 miles

So 100 mph average pulling a trailer for 16-17 hours without stopping for food or potty breaks? Those are some damn good women.

It always takes more time than you would think. Realistic for me is 24-25 hours

                  Dave,
You do realize that 1600 miles in 16 hours would be a 100 mph average speed?

I never corrected you, but a while back when I told you I made 17 miles in 8 1/2 minutes, you came up with some odd figure like 104 or 114 or something, at a glance that's 120 mph, 2 miles a minute, I figured you used too much math.

I can average 100 miles per hour for at least ten seconds.🤣

You realize Sonny would call you out on a 27 second mile?

                    Dave,
So your old crew car could muster 133.33 mph, damn fine rig.

Paul and Wei arrived this evening and the trailer and truck are loaded. We plan to be on the road by 5:00am headed west. Hopefully it will start to warm up by Saturday.
