FOOD: I will bring the barrel smoker, a few racks of ribs, cluckers, sausage, brats, fajita meat. Beans, peppers, onion, cheese, tortillas, all kinds of spices. I have to make boudin dip for Wendy.
Rick will also be in a truck so he will bring food supplies, charcoal, cooking wood too.
Anyone else that wants to bring food baking taters and such would be great.
Anyone that is riding in and not able to carry food is welcome to what we bring. Also there is a grocery store and meat market if you need to buy something while there (meat market is a little pricey) but burgers and dogs always go well. Each cabin has a charcoal grille so not everything has to be slow smoked.
If you buy/bring meat and can’t cook or just don’t want to take up sweet riding time I will be glad to cook it for you since I will be spending most of my time doing that instead of riding anyway.
If we get tired of grilled/smoked food, they have restaurants there too

Which cooking wood? Leaky might be a better place to get Pecan or Mesquite. Ill send you a list of what provisions I get to avoid waste.

Would love to come on down, meet up with friends, ride the sisters, pull a cork, have some great food, and talk serious politics! Ha Ha. I will come if I can sneak away but it is not looking good. Working on a project for a large international company. Takes them weeks of meetings to decide upon anything; and yet they want the project completed on time this fall (after they spent two years hemming and hawing.) Haven't even had the time to work on my project bike which I was planning to bring down along with my Rocket. So I won't reserve a cabin. But will bring a tent to use if I can't bunk on someone's floor.
