    Big day for me!!!

    Today I went out into my garage to get something that I now can't remember.
    the 4 motors sitting there were quietly, yet firmly, in a low tone, in unison, chanting, "Ride me, ride me . . ."
    Its been so long, the sky was blue and sun was warm and bright, I pondered there a moment when suddenly out of my mouth a yelp escaped, "Fuck it - tis the time!"

    Off I went for my first ride since knee replacement 10 weeks ago. Slinging a leg over YurMama and the feel of her vibrating between my legs was only surpassed by a casual grease of the throttle and the subsequent throb of her 160 lbs of torque. Twas 15 miles of connubial motor bliss!!!

    Very happy now and eager for Spearfish!

        Baby steps do work best, especially if I don't want to limp. :-}

      Bull you can get used to the limping. I find that falling down several times a day is no fun. Especially when your on stairs. I think I'm getting old

        Damn Warpo,
        That's the best I've ever seen you look! Must be that fine beard you are sporting.
        Sure wish you were coming to Spearfish - bring a cage?

      Well 1olbull , I had a MRI done last week and found something wrong at the L3, and L4 vertebrae. This could be why I'm falling. It seems the nerve area it controls is my Left leg and hip movement. I shall see, actually the spine specialist will see if he can release the pressure on the spinal cord so it starts working properly or at least better than it is now. Its ruff being the same age as old people

        Perhaps a laminectomy? I had that surgery for S1,2 & L1 thru 5 years ago and it relieved a lot of pain and now and then numbness of my legs.
        Get well my friend, we have some twisties to motor!

      1olbull 1ol after you had the surgery how long did the pain from the cutting stop hurting. Theses guys are saying I won't be driving for 3 weeks. I tend to disagree as I have things to do

        Pain from the surgery was minimal for me. Was very stiff and had to work at increasing my walking distance, but I was driving in 2 weeks. Slow moving for a month or so.

      Thanks I was figuring take it easy for a day or two then get ready to drive North. My Brother in law is moving home and taking over the family house and watch his mother. She has onset dementia and starting to lose her wits. Anyway it wil be his first and largest load and all my nephews up there unfortunately are taking dirt naps. So I can't leave him hanging. Oh and if I dont go my wifey will bring all grandma's junk home for me to get rid of so you see I really have no choice !!!
