First time out with the Rocket in 6 months, pulling out onto sand is scary. Stripped down a bit, I put the windshield on today, but without it, I took 106 lbs off the bike. Both pics probably on the only concrete you can park a bike on in Keaton Beach, it's all dirt driveways and parking lots here.

Nope. My fat is an old age thing. Beating up my bod for nearly 60 years caught up with me. The increased ass time has gradually packed on 50 pounds.Originally posted by Mighty Mouse View PostNow Tripps, In all fairness maybe 1olbull hung out with fat kids with big jugs.
Also had a KZ1000👍🏻

I hear ya mouse, 6 years ago I lost down from 287 to 203 with diet, weights, bicycle riding. I maintained it for four years. Two years ago it started climbing back up no matter that I still followed my regime. In the last year I’ve had some unbelievable setbacks in life n I won’t go into that but I started gaining weight rapidly. I’m back up to 265! I’ve been working out heavy for the past 4 months but not riding and fuck a goddam diet! I’m done with that shit. At 58 my new motto is I’ll workout to stay strong but eat and drink what I want, let the chips fall where they may.
Doing something is better than doing nothing

Getting old obviously plays a big part in Mighty's and most others physical concerns as I myself who will be 63 next month don't have the same balance or strength that I had only 5 years ago. As far as weight it is soooooo much harder to lose then when younger but super easy to gain. Gettin' old sucks!

When I tell the wife I'm going for a ride, she says why don't you just say that you're going to the bar? Cuz going for a ride sounds better, honey.
I think I am going to put the saddlebags and stuff back on, too much of a PITA not having any place for anything that doesn't fit in your pocket.

Amigo,Originally posted by Mad Dog View PostI agree. I like carrying an extra jacket, soft drink, IPad etc.. Unless it’s it’s just a quick run to the bar, I’m looking for another bike for that application now.
Are you saying your R3T is toast?
Perhaps I am behind the curve regarding your post crash adventure???
