You will be above timberline which is about 11,000 feet asl relatively briefly coming out of Estes Park, you would survive in a t-shirt, be more comfortable with a jacket. You’re overthinking this, bring what you’ve got for mid season wear and you will be fine.

It is with great sorrow and disappointment that I had to cancel my reservations. Been feeling bad and loosing weight again. Perhaps the Ozarks trip might be less stressful. Having bloodwork redone soon. I hope it is all just worry and anxiety.Comment

Well, after seeing the amount of flat slab from here to Leadville, we have decided to trailer the bike, not fun to ride for 800 miles on a straight road.

Actually I have been watching very little TV. Have been entertained with the radios and the yard and the dogs. Traffic has gotten crazy to the point I just don't ride the bike. The distracted driving thing has gotten out of hand. Every driver is staring at their telephone.
Perhaps a shorter road drive might be doable for me. Four days of driving alone all day has become too risky for me. Have fun and perhaps we can have a run closer sometime.
I'm sorry to disappoint. This mountain ride is something I really wanted to do but I have gotten too weak.Comment

Just finished packing and loading up the Queen Machine. We're heading out O'Dawn butt crack early (0400hrs) for Leadville with three howdy stops slong the way (Dealer, Idaho Red Rocket, smokit2, & RocketGirl). We are 6 from WA & 1 from AZ.
YurMama is running primo & I be stoked for our first road trip together.
Looking forward to seeing and enjoying everybody.

Dont look like I will be able either just got home from a 8 hour drive on a 10 day hitch plenty of things to catch up on at the house back to work tues, night 8 hour drive another 10 days and so on,You guys stay safe and have fun riding in my back yardComment
