it rained most of the time I was in southern Alaska so I was limited in doing extracurricular activities like the seaplane ride to see wild Griz, helicopter glacier tour, fishing etc.

I need to go back in June someday… Bike repairs in Florida cost me a week, I dilly dallied a week in NC/TN/VA, was sick in NY a week and it took an extra week to get from NY to AK due to the residual bacterial infection.

Pushed my DS FT to 22,000 miles - simply amazing compared to the 11K max I ever got out of Metzelers or Avons.

the Cassier Highway really tore off a lot of rubber so I had to stop in Prince George BC to put the new one I’ve been carrying since leaving NY.

Scumbag(s) in Prince George BC stole a bunch of stuff off my camper.
They told me to park behind the motel next to my room but failed to inform me how high the petty theft crime rate is (as in nightly !).

I incorrectly assumed that the high fence with barbed wire and “security” cameras would protect the items I shoved in between my storage bins and inside my spare FT.

i hunted the area looking for one of the zombies with one of my possessions but they had probably already pawned it off for $20.

on a positive note I found an incredible campsite for $11.50/nt lakeside where I can scan for the Ogopogo lake monster.

Last month scum stole my $6000 aluminum trailer right out of my
driveway. I didn’t know this but apparently trailer theft is quite big so watch that trailer Jim! Also may I recommend trailer insurance as it’s only about $100
a year.

Aside from the thefts, BC was awesome.
A new MottoBatt battery, new fuses, wiring cleanup, and cleaning the Kill Switch has stopped most of the stalling but it did it twice yesterday so I will order a new RHS control.

Fork seals were replaced in Spokane but they said the tubes are shot and need replacing. I may buy a complete fork set and have them shipped to Hermans/TurboR32004 in AZ.

They also said the rotors are borderline unsafe and I have a set of used ones already in AZ for a planned Pit Stop at Hermans.

I’m pushing south to find Summer.
