The deed is done.

I accomplished my 17 year goal to complete the “48 + 1” on my Tribal MC yesterday after a two year Canadian Covid blockade.

I have now ridden the SAME Triumph Rocket III Motorcycle in all 48 continental US States plus Alaska. Woot!

I keep a can of bear spray handy but unless you get into Polar Bear country they don’t mess with humans.

Get out on the water or in a float plane while you’re there, charter a day cruise or a fishing trip or something, the difference in perspective is another level. I sat on a fishing boat watching a glacier falling into the ocean chunks the size of the World Trade Center with Orcas porpoising around me and 3 active volcanos in sight smoking. One was in Russia, one was Kodiak Island, the 3rd was Mount Iliamna in the Aleutian Islands.
